Harvey Scott,
Elders Wisdom Council

Athabasca AB, Treaty 8

Harvey Scott is currently a Keepers of the Water Elders Wisdom Council member.

Since 2007, he has worked with fellow settler activists and Cree, Dene and Metis allies to help build the Keepers of the Athabasca and the Arctic Keepers of the Water. The Keepers are now a very effective educational and advocacy voice and change organization led by strong wise Indigenous leadership. The Keepers draw on Traditional Indigenous Knowledge and the best of Western environmental science and technology to show how we can move forward in addressing our social, ecological and climate solutions.

Harvey is very thankful for growing up in Haudenosaunee/Mohawk Territory on Lake Ontario and now thanks the Cree, Dene and Metis Peoples for allowing us to reside here on the Northern plains and enjoy our lives here on their traditional lands.
