Downstream Communities Hold Second Annual Healing Walk through the Tar Sands

On Saturday, June 25th, the Keepers of the Athabasca, a network of First Nation, Métis and settler community members along the Athabasca river hosted a 'healing walk' through the tar sands. This walk wass started by local people directly affected and heartbroken by what the tar sands development has done to their traditional homelands.
