Acknowledging water, land and air as essential and sacred elements that provide life is essential to being a Keeper of the Water. In the spirit of "Ubuntu,” my vocation calls me to seek justice, peace and sharing because, in life, all is connected. As a grandfather of 5 grand-daughters, I try to focus on their future as Treaty people. I have responsibilities to share and live in right relationships with all life in Creation. Learning, living and reflection remind me of how much I do not know. I am learning to listen to discover what I need to do next.

Working with the Keepers of the Water offers me challenge and growth.

“Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability,” warned MLK, “but comes through continuous struggle.”
