Lands Director, Fort Nelson First Nation
Lana Lowe is granddaughter to Harry and Adeline Dickie. She holds a Bachelor's degree with distinction in Geography/Environmental Studies and a Masters degree in Indigenous Governance (Fellow) at the University of Victoria.
Prior to moving to Fort Nelson to work for her community, Ms. Lowe worked with grassroots indigenous organizations and think tanks in North and Central America, including the Union of BC Indian Chiefs, the Centre for Native Policy and Research, and the Nahual Fundación in Antigua, Guatemala. She has been the Director of the Fort Nelson First Nation Lands Department since November 2009.
